The St. Johns
Missionaries
to Honduras
Strengthening churches through biblical counseling in Honduras and supporting church planting efforts across Honduras.
God’s Calling
Our Story
As a child in Honduras, Esther saw many missionaries come to her neighborhood — but the message they brought was not the true gospel. It wasn’t until she studied biblical counseling in the U.S. that she finally understood grace: salvation is a gift, not something earned (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Theron’s own study of God’s Word shaped a heart for ministry leadership and reaching an urban, multiethnic world for Christ. When he and Esther met, they were drawn together by a shared calling — and in 2021, they married, committing to serve together in Esther’s home country of Honduras.
“God’s Word transformed Theron and Esther’s lives, and they are eager to see it transform other lives in Honduras.”
From Their Story
Did You Know?
Although the Joshua Project classifies Honduras as a “significantly reached” country, it remains full of false teaching — and in deep need of the true gospel and sound biblical training.
